Coming of Age

What is it about some couples that they seem to feel the need to stop everything literally every 3 and a half minutes and kiss? Honestly who are you trying to convince? Is it me, is it you, is it each other, is it the world? Are you so insecure in your own relationship that you feel the need to drop everything no matter where you are and how inappropriate it is kiss?

Don't get me wrong, the occasional public show of affection is fine, good in fact. However, every 3 to 4 minutes during a movie, every freaking red light or stop sign, every pause in any walk... Seriously to me it shows nothing but insecurity and an insane lack of boundaries... Or if you are going to act like such do not invite a single friend along with you. It's bad enough to be the third wheel you then have to go ahead and make it uncomfortable?

Also, just a quick note in the same vain. I am not impressed by sex talk, I don't care if you've done it, if you are going to do it, if you can't get enough of it, whatever. I'm not interested, I'm not impressed and again it serves nothing more than to show a lack of boundaries and security.

Seriously what I ask for isn't really that difficult. If you are going to be in a mature relationship try acting a little bit mature.... either that or be kind enough to supply the barf bags for anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in the nauseating wave.
