I was born on the very day that "The Greatest American Hero" debuted with it's 2 hour pilot.
My dad always loves telling me me that he remembers sitting in the waiting room(I had a problematic birth) and seeing the show. I never realized that it was the debut.
I've never actually seen the show, but I'm definitely going to make time or it very soon.
So, any idea what was on the tube when you were born?

Hmmm...I don't know what great moment happened on Oct 17 19something or another...;) It's not polite to ask a lady how old she is...though I see no ladies here! LOLOLOL
Ash :D
Let's see, October 17. In 1979 Mother Teresa won a Nobel Peace Prize.
in 1937 Huey, Dewey, and Louie first appeared.
In 1972 Eminem was born.
Well, let's see. I'll cherry pick some cool ones and leave out stuff like "The Leslie Uggams Power Hour" and "NBC's Wonderful Friggin' World of Color"...March 28, 1969..."Mission:Impossible"..."Gunsmoke"..."The Mod Squad"..."Hawaii Five-O"..."Bewitched"..."Get Smart"..."The Dating Game" and "Adam 12." Hot damn, those were some pretty groovy shows as compared to what passes for primetime TV these days. Damn, I sound like grandpa Simpson...
That does seem to be a pretty quality heavy list, TV has really gone down the tubes (haha) in the last few years. I shouldn't complain though it has given me a chance to switch over to DVDs for entertainment.
I'll admit to being jealous of the "Get Smart" connection. Not a week goes by that I don't make reference to the Cone of Silence.
Let's also not forget that on March 28th in 1981 Julia Stiles was born.
